IE 107 – Just Dance

Luciana - U B The BassCheck out our new music this week.  After only two, that’s tea double you oh new entries last week in our IE107 Dance Top 50, this week we have three, that’s tea.. uh, ache, no that’s ache.  Anyways, the English duo Freemasons features Joel Edwards and debuts at Number 38 with “Dirty Organ.“  The song about some girl that for unknown reasons he’s fascinated by and it makes him sweat as he plays with his dirty organ… we think.  There are extremely complex lyrics and even still this is a great dance hit.

English singer Luciana  returns to the charts after two years with “U B The Bass.”  Her last hit, “I’m Still Hot” actually topped the Billboard Hot Dance Club Charts in 2011. Hmm, Billboard… Don’t they also always have Yoko Ono as Number One as well?  Highest debut this week is from Swedish DJ/Producers Style of Eye and Tom Staar.  Debuting at Number 28 this week is “After Dark.“  Listen for the UK Radio Edit to air soon on IE107.  It is hot!!

Speaking of remixes, last week I asked which artist and song has been in our IE107 Dance Top 50 the longest ever?  The answer is Krewella’sAlive” and this week Hardwell released a remix that is off the heezy fo sheezy.  Check out the SBL Radio Edit of such now playing on IE107, Just Dance.  All the “New Music” is listed just below and don’t forget the entire IE107 Dance Top 50 can be seen hither.

Luciana – U B The Bass
Freemasons Ftg Joel Edwards – Dirty Organ
Style of Eye & Tom Staar – After Dark

Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky  is such a great, great feeling song.  Pretty much encompassing the feeling that dance gives of love and unity, blah, blah, quack, quack, whatever…  The song will undoubtedly be the Summer hit of 2013.  So as a prelude to the beginning of Summer next week, we present to you… “Get Lucky,” our “Video Of The Week,” free dance lessons included.

Finally entering the Top 10 after 18 weeks is Icona Pop. 16 weeks ago we predicted the song as one of the future Top 10 but didn't anticipate it would take 4 months. "I Love It"" moves into the Number 7 slot of the IE 107 Top 10.

Another song that is like a fine wine and gets better with time. (How's that for a metaphor? Cue barf...) "Apollo" debuted 24 weeks ago peaked at 12 the first week of April then fell. Hardwell now at 10 squeaks into the Top 10.

The fast rising hit by Daft Punk "Get Lucky" in its fourth week on our Top 50 charts remains at Number 3. We will go out on a limb and say that song will be Number 1. Next couple weeks, eh?

This week Armin Van Buuren's "This Is What It Feels Like" moves to Number 2. The Number 1 spot for the second straight week is Calvin Harris and Elli Goulding with "I Need Your Love."

1 - Calvin Harris Ftg Ellie Goulding - I Need Your Love

3 - Daft Punk Ftg Pharrell - Get Lucky
4 - Daddy's Groove - Stellar
5 - Audien Ftg Michael S - Leaving You
6 - Arty & Chris James - Together We Are
7 - Icona Pop - I Love It
